Porter’s Chapel and St. Aloysius took road losses on Friday

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Porter’s Chapel Academy and St. Aloysius took road losses on Friday.
PCA:
PCA opened up district play with a 50-34 loss to Humphreys Academy. By halftime, the score was neck and neck at 20-18 with HA leading the way.
Chad Fuson had a big night as quarterback for PCA as he threw four touchdowns and had no interceptions. He threw for 286 yards and 3 out of four touchdowns went to Tommy Nelson. Nelson caught three touchdowns from 75, 30, and 4 yards. He had 157 receiving yards on the night with his eight receptions, 48 rushing yards, and a touchdown that went for 10 yards.
Auston Moore caught a 45-yard touchdown. He had 74 receiving yards on the night. Laken Pecanty had 61 rushing yards and led the defense with 10 tackles. Nelson grabbed nine tackles and Schaffer Bell added seven tackles.
The Eagles are now 3-4 on the year and will host Benton Academy on Friday.
St. Aloysius:
The Flashes took a 40-0 loss to Washington School on Friday.

The loss gives the Flashes a 3-4 record and they will be on the road next week to face Adams County Christian School.
