An interview with Mayor Thompson on the State of the City

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Mayor Willis Thompson sat down with Stephanie Cunningham and David Day of the Vicksburg Daily News for a wide-ranging interview.

The Mayor had no prior knowledge of the topic or the questions to be asked and was told that, once we started, the video would roll continuously until we were done. The topics included city finances, Shad White, crime, police department staffing, street litter, and other issues facing the city.
