Sunny weekend ahead with mild nights and patchy fog possible

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Vicksburg can expect a pleasant stretch of sunny weather through the weekend and into Monday, with mild temperatures, mostly clear skies, and the occasional patch of early morning fog, according to the National Weather Service.

Tonight will be partly cloudy with patchy fog developing after 5 a.m. and a low around 60. Winds will be light and variable.

Saturday will be sunny following any early morning fog, with a high near 83 and a light northwest breeze. The night will be mostly clear and calm, with a low around 63.

Sunday brings partly sunny skies for the end of the weekend and a high near 83, followed by mostly clear conditions Sunday night and a low near 64. Patchy fog may return early Monday.

Memorial Day will start with morning fog and turn sunny, with highs reaching 87 and light afternoon winds out of the southeast.
