Tyler Henderson selected to play in the Bernard Blackwell Classic

Vicksburg High School football player Tyler Henderson has been selected to play in the Bernard Blackwell Classic All-Star Game.

Henderson, a senior wide receiver, was recently added to the roster, where he will play on the North Team alongside teammates Demarcus Johnson and Tyler Carter.

Henderson has been the Gators’ top receiver over the last few years, and he currently has over 800 receiving yards, 11 touchdowns, and a pair of interceptions in the 2023 season. He now has scholarship offers from schools such as Alcorn State University, East Central CC, Northwest Mississippi CC, and Co-Lin CC. Henderson is also in the draft pool for the MSA Senior Bowl Game.

The Bernard Blackwell Classic will be played in Gulfport on Dec. 9.
